Team Bentley made its big comeback to motorsports in 2014, scoring major wins at Silverstone and Le Castellet with Bentley’s new high-performance racing machine, the Bentley Continental GT3. To commemorate such endeavor Bentley introduced a production of the GT3-R road car with an allocation of 300 units world-wide with just 99 destined for the US market.
The new Breitling for Bentley GT3-R Chronograph — the latest product collaboration between the Swiss watch manufacture and the British luxury automaker in 2014 — pays tribute to this exceptional vehicle.
To celebrate the launch of the Bentley GT3-R Breitling has created a limited series chronograph reserved for owners of this exceptional car. A tribute to Bentley’s achievement in the field of motor racing. The Bentley GT3-R time piece combines an ultra-sport look and carbon fiber dial with a high performance Manufacture Breitling calibre featuring an exclusive “30-second chronograph” system. The epitome of Bentley’s all-conquering spirit.
Much like the car, just 300 models of the luxury Swiss watchmaker’s exclusive timepiece have been manufactured worldwide, with 99 dedicated to the American region. The Breitling for Bentley GT3-R timepiece features the Bentley GT3-R logo on a black carbon dial and comes with the knurled motif on the bezel; a nod to the famous Bentley radiator grilles.
Bentley Motors has an incredible racing heritage, but that heritage isn’t often present in their road cars. Looking to change that with the release of their limited-run GT3-R, Bentley approached Bell Racing for a custom helmet to include with their $339,000 automobile. Working with Bell and Bentley on this collaboration, a helmet packaging was created, decidedly Bentley while still being faithful to the Bell brand.
While the Bell road racing helmet was included with the car at the time of delivery the owners of the Bentley GT3-R had the option of purchasing the Breitling chronograph individualy numbered and corresponding the actual production number of the motorcar itself. The cost of such option in 2015 was $16,000.

The Breitling chronograph is in overall excellent condition with light surface wear to the clasp, strap, case and bezel. During our quality control check, any necessary adjustments are made to ensure the watch is functioning as intended. The timepiece is accompanied by its original box, presentation leather case, owner’s manual, COSC certificate and all pertinent documentation as supplied by the manufacturer when new.
While the watch has been previously enjoyed the helmet has never been worn and it is sized as 60/Large. It is presented with a branded fleece bag, visor hardware and documentation by Bell.
