“The door handle button, the headlight washer nozzles, the sun visors and the spare wheel cover. Thatâs a comprehensive list of the parts that have been carried over from the old GelĂ€ndewagen. Apparently thereâs a bracket underneath that also has the same part number as before, but even the engineers canât remember quite where it is. Everything else â everything â is new. About time, really. The old G had been around since the dawn of the motor carriage (well, 1979), an old soldier still refusing to desert its post. That post is off-roadability. Surely Mercedes must have been tempted to take the new one in a more urban direction, since thatâs the landscape the G seems most able to conquer? âNot at allâ, says Gunnar Guthenke, the G-Classâs boss, âabove all it had to be authentic, so there were three elements we absolutely had to keep: the super-tough ladder chassis, the three locking differentials and the low range gearboxâ.
Speedart Motorsports is delighted to offer for sale this second generation of the W463 stalwart in impeccable condition and indistinguishable from new.
Chassis No. 414884 rolled off the Austrian plant of Graz on October of 2021 and delivered to its excited new owner on November 4, 2021 via Mercedes-Benz of Coral Gables.
The motorcar is finished in a breathtaking Iridium Silver Metallic paint complemented by an Obsidian Black roof over Black Exclusive Nappa Leather interior with diamond quilt contrast stitching in White and a galore of carbon fiber accents further reminding its Affalterbach pedigree.
At the time of ordering, the G-Wagen was specified with every conceivable option available including the highly coveted AMG Night Package Plus along the G Manufactur Interior Package, 22 inch forged cross-spoke wheels with Red brake calipers, AMG carbon fiber trim and more, totalling an addendum of $21,250 over its base list price.
During its 16 months of ownership by its first and only custodian the GelÀndewagen has covered 4,422 careful miles and stored always in an enclosed garage when not enjoyed. The AMG G-Wagen is free of any incidents with an unblemished exterior still retaining its original glaze and an equally unmolested interior attesting to the fastidious care the automobile has received so far.
With the last service performed on January 24, 2023 by the selling dealer along a fresh set of tires the G63 is ready for new urban adventures and the original factory warranty intact through November 2025 or 50,000 miles.
The sale of the Mercedes is accompanied by spare keys, ownerâs manuals, service booklet, original window sticker and all equipment as supplied by the manufacturer at the time of delivery. Furthermore, a custom tailored set of handsome leather floor mats with quilted stitching will be included along the original unused AMG branded carpet over mats.
Speedart Motorsports welcomes all serious inquiries with an invitation to any interested party in order to witness upclose and personal this exquisite AMG specimen in our Miami Design District showroom.
